Japan I – Introduction
€196,90
Regular price €169,00Three wines from Fujiclair, Lumière and Takahata offer an introduction to the diversity of Japanese wine. A light Koshu, an aromatic white blend and a powerful red showcase different grape varieties and approaches to ageing.
Ginka 2022 – Fujiclair
This unfiltered Koshu from Yamanashi combines delicate pear and peach aromas with floral notes. At 9% vol, with gentle acidity and a slightly creamy texture, it is subtle and balanced.
Histoire White 2022 – Lumière
The white blend offers lychee, rose, honey and nut aromas. It is dry and full-bodied, with a mineral finish. The grapes come from Yamanashi, Yamagata and Nagano.
L’Ogre Rouge 2020 – Takahata
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot make a powerful red wine from Yamagata. Ripe plum meets vanilla and toast. The 24 months in oak complement its dense fruit and powerful tannins.
