L’Escalier Rouge 2022
L’Escalier Rouge 2022 was created for Takahata's 35th anniversary. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend comes from Takahata in Yamagata and spends 24 months in barrel. Takafumi Hara's specially designed label draws on his “Stairs” series.
Blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry are accompanied by vanilla, toast, spice and chocolate. The medium-bodied red combines concentrated fruit with fine-grained tannins and a long finish.
