Sustainable viticulture
Lumière preserves the authentic characteristics of the Yamanashi terroir through natural cultivation and gentle processing. Alluvial soils of decomposed granite lend the wines a delicate mineral note. Traditional pergola training protects the vines from the region's high rainfall.
Traditional craftsmanship
Lumière embodies living craftsmanship. Each grape is harvested by hand. The wines mature in traditional Japanese granite tanks and carefully selected barriques. Time, stillness, and precision shape their character and give them depth and expression. Lumière's sparkling wine is created according to the principles of great Champagne houses: classic bottle fermentation and gentle hand riddling – a process that demands patience and rewards connoisseurs.
