Marufuji Winery - 丸藤
In May 1890, Jisaku Omura established a small, modest winery in his back garden, laying the foundation for a traditional winery that still embodies the essence of Japanese wine culture today. Now in its fourth generation, the Omura family dedicates itself to the art of winemaking with tireless dedication and precision – driven by the desire to bring the authentic character of Japanese wines to an international audience.
With a keen sense of international tastes, the winery specializes in elegant, dry wines. In pursuit of perfection, exquisite world-class creations are created here: from the traditional Koshu grape to noble European varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc - all meticulously handcrafted.

Wine as a moment of enjoyment
“ With our wines, we want to create moments of exchange – not just as a companion to food, but as an invitation to experience the depth and joy of wine enjoyment. ”
– Haruo Omura, Managing Director
