Takahata
Arkadia Select Harvest 2019
Arkadia Select Harvest 2019 is Takahata's flagship blend from Yamagata. Twelve barrels were selected from a total of 200 for this vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot combine in a concentrated, complex red wine. It matures for 24 months in oak barrels, with 75 % new oak.
Blackberry and blackcurrant aromas are accompanied by vanilla, white pepper and delicate floral notes. On the palate, dense dark fruit meets velvety tannins and supporting acidity. Chocolate and spice notes shape the long finish.

Ageing potential is a guide, not a guarantee of shelf life. Development depends on the vintage, individual bottle and cool, dark storage at a steady temperature. Please ask us for advice on drinking maturity.
